So I have an Inspiron 17 laptop.
It's brand new with:
4 gigs ram
2.4 ghz processor
GM45 chipset
Anyone know if there is anyway I can upgrade the graphics card from the base one? I didn't have any choices when I ordered it and was hoping I could upgrade it if I needed to. If not oh well I still have my xbox 360.

Only the hard drives and RAM can be realistically upgraded on a laptop.

EDIT: On some laptops, the video can be upgraded, but it's less than 1% of current laptops. Hehe, another reason why not to get a laptop for gaming -- but that's more for that "other" thread.

yep, i sold my laptop for 150 bucks after getting my iphone, paid about 1300 initially. Complete waste lol :/ spent almost 2k on my custom desktop and never happier.. except for as of late, damn instability!
