I always thought I would rather be in one of those old tanks if I were in a wreck. Not no more. :-O

Hmmm. I would still feel safer in an old detroit boat as those tapes are collisions with other cars of the same size and mass, and some of those crash tests seemed to be at quite some speed (>55mph) and keeping in mind that you're most likely to be hit on the road these days by some idiot in a honda or a Toyota or some other heap of japanese plastic that will shatter on impact with anything bigger than a road cone, I would still feel safe, but thats just me; Don't know about the rest of you.
Heres a few more I've found:

I know the feeling and i feel the same thing.
The truth is that cars got a lot of safety features on the 70īs and 80īs (thatīs why those are my favourites) but older cars like 50īs didnīt had any kind of safety features like deformable steering wheel, they used those normal glasses that shatters in big sharp slices and no seatbelts.

Id like to see a crash test between an old 50's-70's car vs a new one.... I think the older car would tear through the newer one.
I love Red Green lol... New cars may be a little safer. But I'd drive an old one for the same reasons I don't ride a scooter around town. Looks & Performance.
