this is not a joke. Amazon.com has discontinued sale of the G25 in favor of the G27 which is at an introductory price of $309.99. The new features seem to be a shift light and a total of 6 buttons on the steering wheel. PC,Playstations 2&3 support<no XBOX??>
(this doesnt mean you can't still get a G25)
they took the 2-6 gear switch off of it too.

and they did a little bit of internal work also.
Hey thrust we already have a post about the G27. We will be officially supporting the G25 so the G27 will work fine with MWO.

can the shift light be an option, maybe just a single light turn red like the drag racing shift light. Is that in the "DirectInput"? the shift light is based RPM in intent. this is for future changes category.
We'll have to take a look at the SDK that comes with the wheel.

This just reminds me how in MCO I used to get owned in all the races until I bought a wheel and all the sudden realized how everybody was owning me so easily.... good times

Non so come risolvere.La riporto indietro e la cambio?oppure ho qualche possibilita?
Grazie dell aiuto

No idea, but it appears to be about skype, a logitech webcam, and a mac AKA nothing whatever about the steering wheel.
"Hello everyone I'm new and I have a problem that I can not resolute.

Thanks, Pie!
Thanks, Pie!
No problem! I used to have an Italian pen pal. I recognized the language. Never could quite figure the language out myself. Luckily she knew English!

I hope older wheels will still be compatible. I can't afford a new one with all my other projects going on
(Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback)
I'm sure if they have it setup for G9362, it can support older wheels as well. (Logitech Driving Force II FF)

AFAIK, so long as windows game controllers (in control panel) can recognize it, you should be able to use it. Pretty sure you'll be okay on that end.

HI just got my PS3 and 55 inch Samsung the other day. The wife and I are keen on getting a good driving game and steering wheel to go with it. Been checking things out and the Logitech G25 comes in tops but is definitely at a premium price.
What are peoples opinions on this? is there anything else on the market that would be suitable?
Also, which are the driving games worth getting at present? Should we still wait for GT5 to come out? btw, WHEN is it coming out?

I'm a 360 player, so I don't know for sure what good racing games there are on PS3. I know Burnout Paradise is good, but I don't think you'd need a wheel for it. I've also heard good things about Motorstorm, but once again I'm not sure it'd be "sim" enough for a wheel. DIRT 1/2 are good, and I WOULD recommend a wheel if you want to get around it at any reasonable pace.
As far as wheel choices, I can't really help you. I know G25 is popular because of it's price point for the features it gives. They can easily go up from there with a shifter and clutch like it has. I know somewhere here has talked about Fanatec's Porsche wheel being good, but I don't know their price or really anything about them or which porsche wheel he was recommending now.

the last anyone heard about GT5 was Feb/'10. Motorstorm and Motorstorm/Pacific Rift are good games. Burnout Paradise is a good one also. I haven't tried either of the Dirt versions but I've heard good things about them. yeah, I've got a PS3 and a 360 also. I have never used a wheel but might be tempted to try either the G25 or 27 for this game...

when me and my cousin played MCO we also played Crimson Skies. we had a fiero seat set up with mounts on it. we were talking about building a full cockpit with multiple screens since the game would have supported it but it would have took up too much room. I have been thinking about it again but I use my computer for too much of my wifes school work and research for school. so having a cockpit is out as of now. but I might just move my system to the basement. if thats the case I will be buying a projecter and painting a wall then I will build a setup buit untill then old and trusty will have to work
