Went to a car show today in the Torino... All of a sudden I see this pull up, and park on the other side of the road... 1969 GT-350.. 351 small block - automatic.. My dad had the same car, but with a 4 speed... Check it out!!

By far, the best year for the Shelby... 67/68 is nice... But '69 is just so damn mean looking...

69 was just the year for most cars...mustangs, camaros, chevelles, and a bunch more...love all of those body styles

a guy in the town I used to live was lucky enough to own 2 69 shelbys, now i dont remember what models but he had a coupe and vert both red with yellow/gold lettering, something tells me they were 500s though

the shelby coupes were "experimental/used for racing". It was a concept of sorts. if he has a coupe, that thing is worth BIG BUCKS!!!

First off, thats a very nice 69.

Not trying to start anything Cobra but many would argue that 69 was not the definitive year for the Chevelle. To most, including me, the 1970 was the pinnacle.:D

That make sense coming from the guy with "The Judge" avatar, wouldn't it? :p

I really like the 69 out of all the first-gen camaros, but that's not to say the split-bumper 70-73 camaros aren't bad to look at either.

ah i'll take the 66-67 chevelle (owned 69,70,71,72,and a 73 )
and 69 camaro is my #1 ( owned 67 and a still have a 69)
but the 71-73 T/A aint bad either (had a 72 )

as far as GTO's give me a 67 389 tri-power with a 4 speed in blue and we got a deal
olds 68 442 ( love one i still own in storage for 22 years now)
mopar 67 gtx 69 roadrunner68 and 69 cuda 69 and 70 gtx 70 superbird ( had 69 440 six pack 4 speed cuda) (292kid has CURRENTLY a 70 superbird b-5 blue 440 six pac 4speed )
most 64-65 dodge 2 doors ,,,,,,,,,like that 413 wedge
ford 66 fairlane / 64 galaxie ,,(dads car 64 gal 500),,,,,,, 68-70 mustangs all but the gt500 not crazy about the front end for some reason
and the 70-71 torino GT (dads other car 70 - 429 torino GT "called the GREEN DRAGON" tire smoking beast it was special ordered BOSS 429 ) dad's hot rodding days are over with he's in a wheel chair ,( double stroke in 02),,but man the stories he tells my sons keep them itching for PURE american MUSCLE !!!!!!!
