Wasn't NASCAR limited to 4 door saloon cars?

thats for the cup series.

That was only in recent years, started by Ford when they used the Taurus body. Dodge used the Intrepid Body style for a while, but Chevy stuck with the Monte. Before that, they were all 2 door based bodies.
Still miss the "old days", when most brands had a car involved. :(

that car looks like japo puke
Looks extremely photo shopped. The front end just has this funny look to it.

It's a rendering, so you were correct KRB.

Frankly, as hideous as this may look, it still looks better than the actual 2010 Mustang... *shivers*

I just googled the 2010 Mustang, and it's ugly. What were they trying to prove? That Ford still has the money to make daft decisions?

the old cars and old nascar are by far the best seeing the super birds,Daytona's and those winged torinos of 69-70 were awesome and hearing the big blocks rumble to life is all a kid could take up until the mid 70's nascar was the place to be for pure cubic inches , no high tech aerodynamics just run the factory BODY and haul azz!

Ford still has money and I would support them ANY day over Government Motors or Cerebus Motors (Chrysler - which is getting bailed out for the SECOND time in the past 30 years!). Why fault Ford for having the foresight and guts to get private funding for their turn around? I'm sick of bailouts. Banks get bailouts. Car companies get bailouts. Are they going to pay the taxpayers back for their loans?
BTW ... I have a feeling you are mistaken about the 2010 Ford Mustang ...

Every guy out there seems to think that orange Mustang is the 2010 .. it's not. That car was designed by some Italian.

Well that explains everything.
And I agree with your post. To my knowledge, Ford is the only one out of the three that never needed a bailout.

oh they needed a bailout they just didn't go public with it , was all done private and what the hell would italy know about designing a muscle car ? to my knowledge their fast cars cost to much to buy and maintain to make them any fun to the average JOE

That's a real Shelby GT500. I *wish* the 2010 Mustang's all looked like that.

(top is a Shelby, bottom is a mustang)
I've seen and even expressed my opinions about the 2010 to my dad today. He didn't know what they looked like so I did a side by side of the 2005 and the 2010. He didn't notice much difference in them...
I went to ford's official website and did their 360 exterior view thing. I don't like it. It could of been much worse I suppose, but considering everyone I know loved the 2005-style, I don't see why ford felt so compelled to change it (for the worse, if you ask me).

Yeah no one seems to like the rear ends of the 2010s.
the rear end would have been ok if they would have left the tail lights squared and not kinda rounded...plus i hate the rear blinker lights...they are retarded
