There's a guy named Bubba and it doesn't matter who you say you know, Bubba knows them. Bubba knows Everybody and Everybody knows Bubba. You probably know him.
Anyway, Bubba's co-worker Cletis just got so fed up that he simply had to find someone that didn't know Bubba. He says to Bubba "I bet you don't know Jack Nicholson". Bubba whips out his cel phone, (speed dial) "Hey, Jack how ya doin? Golf? This afternoon? Sure buddy, see ya then". So Cletis and Bubba go play golf with Jack.
Cletis is fuming... "You can't know EVERYBODY... How about President Obama?" Bubba whips out the cel phone, dials his ICE # and sure enough, "Hey Barry, s'up my man" and sure enough, Bubba and Cletis are flying on AF1 with the Prez, sipping mint juleps before you know it.
Cletis is getting really irked now and so he says "I bet you don't know the pope!" AF1 is redirected to Rome, and pretty soon Bubba and Cletis are outside the Vatican with Bubba giving directions.
"Well Cletis, they're pretty touchy about security here so I'm going in, and you watch that there balcony and me and the pope will be coming out there at noon."
So, noon comes and Bubba steps out onto the balcony with the Pope, and he looks for Cletis in the crowd so he can wave at him. All he sees is a sea of sightseers, and Cletis, rolling on the ground having a fit.
He makes his way out of the Vatican and back over to Cletis. He asks him, "Cletis, what's the problem?"
"Damn you Bubba," he cries in frustration, "I give up! You DO know everybody! I was standing here watching you come out onto the balcony with the pope when this Chinese touristo guy in a tropical print shirt with a camera around his neck and giant sunglasses looks up where you and the Pope were standing and he looks at me and asks me "Who dat guy inna dress up dere wit Bubba?" :rofl:
