Homophobia much?

They're just targeting different groups with their advertising, relax..

heheh this needs to go to CARBODY'S - what a joke. If they'd stop wasting money trying to advertise to special interest groups and just put the money into making a good car they'd have something going on.
I can see the new nickname coming up - "Gaymaro". If Dodge could market the 4-door Charger to family guys and a truck with a wing and a bumblebee called "Gaytona" oh woops excuse me "G...."Daytona" to whoever would want one, I suppose Chevy can pander to "alterative lifestylists" if it wants to. Lets see a special "Dungeon" edition for the sado-masochists out there. Chain Seat Belts, Leather Seats, Whiplash included with every fast start !

All that matters is that they sell as many Camaro's as possible, because if the Camaro doesn't sell VERY well, I fear we may be nearing the end of the age of American built muscle cars.

Ahh as long as the Mustang remains a "cute girls car" it wont go anywhere.

Why can't all the big companies realise that the majority of car buyers are men, and make cars that are good to drive and good to look at?

And also, what was wrong with the 60's designs, but modernised? I for one think that there's a lot of potential with the classic bel-air.

A modernized '55 Bel-Air could be interesting, if done right..

I personally feel that if a car company drops a nameplate thats it its done. I'm not a fan of bringing back the old and calling it new.

My problem with "modernized cars" is that they usually donīt even have a bumper.

They have bumpers, but not in the sense that you're probably thinking. Plastic/Light Alloy bumpers are not equal to Steel/Chrome bumpers.

And 99 times out of 100 in a crash, might is right.

I never quite understood the new age cars and their "crumple zones". The crumple zone on my 64' Custom 500 is between the tire and the road after I toss my empties out the window.

crumple ZONE - lol i used to cruise around in a 1955 buick roadmaster , big ole baby blue and white 4 wheel SHERMAN tank i got hit twice in this thing ,,,first time was in 92 by a brand new 352I beamer ,,,,4k miles and it was TOTALLED AS IN FAR FRICKING DEMOLISHED

second one was a mazda b2200 pickup guy broke both his legs and pelvic bone ,,,,sorry both wrecks i felt a lil NUDGE an i never even slid or moved a inch ,,,,, course fact my bumper was made out of more metal than 70% of either of the two didn't hurt either

Funny you should mention a sherman, as there's one about 10 miles down the road from my house, that was used in saving private ryan. Pity the owner won't let me borrow it....

The "crumple zone" on my 47 willys jeep was about a half an inch when I t-boned an old lady in a comet at 35mph. Ripped the side of the comet open but the impact only bent my bumper back 1/2" tops. It did wobble a bit driving after, so at her expense (tyvm) my friend at the 4x4 shop replaced all the front end parts.

I must dissagree Factory Five and Year One put out enough sheetmetal and parts to build a car from scratch lol

Funny thing was in Hawaii I saw a Mazda smalle van thing with a sticker in the window saying this vehicle could survive a us regulated 2 mph crash without damage, I just want to kick the living crud outta this thing lol
