Hey guys, my dad had to sell his viper, and got a partial trade and a nice sum of money for this baby.. I think he got it for around $2000.

It's a real 1988 IROC, black ext, black interior, 305 Tuned port, auto. It needs some work..

Sweet! You don't see too many 3rd Gen F-Body convertibles. One thing to keep an eye on is the fuel injector gaskets. The guy I sold my '86 Trans Am to had an '86 Iroc with tuned-port 305, one of the gaskets ruptured and sprayed gas onto the exhaust manifold. He was able to put the fire out, but it did some damage. That happened 10 years ago to a 13 yr old motor, yours is 21 yrs old. Suggested maintenance- get the injectors cleaned and have new gaskets installed. This just may be a suggestion out of left field, but I've told a few tuned-port owners this. Good luck, Mike

Haha well, it's a time when decisions like "Do I pay the mortgage, or do I pay $4000 to insure the viper for 5 months?" Windsor is a fast dying city filled with tradesmen of all likes, and now, as a electrical contractor running his own business, he is left competing with licensed electricians, working out of their wives minivans with a $100,000 buyout from Fords. So, our work has been cut down to a 1/4 of what it was last year.. But, we've still got the Gran Torino, so it's all good.
