Needs a bit of work, but it runs nice. :D

Nice. Wouldn't have gone for a black one myself, but nice anyway.

How much you paying?

I've seen some rather nice cars in my local paper going dirt cheap because of this recession.

Check this BMW out:

Not bad for £600...

Whoops, scratch Sat. Something came up that is going to slow things down a bit. :( Might take another couple of weeks before I can get it. :trytofly:

Double whoops!
The GA is scratched. :ciao:
I picked up a '94 Chrysler Concord for $500 last night. It has 150k on it. Needs some work, but less than the GA does. Pics to follow, when the wife gets time to upload them from the camera, and send them to me. :playingball:

Needs some tlc, and a few minor repairs, (turn signal flasher relay, brakes, tires.) but for $498.00, (found a Toonie in the trunk  )I expected I'd have some work to do. :D

Hey, for under $500. not bad!

Well, this just sux.
Upon further inspection, I noticed the rear rocker panels are rusted out, and the right rear trailing arm is breaking. I put some metal duct tape on the trailing arm to see how bad it's flexing, so far not enough to break the tape.
I also looked at the turn signal / hazard problem and found that somewhere down the line somebody did a hack and slash fog light installation, and messed up the electrical.
Put it back on Kijiji. I hope to get close to my $$ back.

On the good side, I talked to the guy that had the GA, and as far as he knows his son is still going to sell it. If it is, I might just get it. Not so much work to get it to pass. Otherwise, it's back to the hunt.

Bummer, Ayce. That doesn't sound good. Hope you can make it go away.

You didn't want that slush box anyway.

Sorry I don't live a bit closer Ayce. I'm not much of a body man, but the trailing arm is a piece of cake, and the wiring is no challenge either.

 I'm on the other side, in NB.

We decided to keep the car for now. Got the signals fixed, was the flasher relay, as I thought.
Going to reinforce the trailing arm, for now, until I can find a wrecker that has one. :trytofly:
