not a big fan of I RACING even though I haven't played it just for the simple fact u darn near have to be rich to play... Most cars and Tracks cost money..... I race ARCA SIM RACING 08 and its a good sim..... I'm in a league(elitesimracing.com... won a championship over there) on ARCA sim and one of the greatest racing games out there for oval racers. I RACING wouldn't be bad if it just wasn't so expensive....gotta buy a subscription then turn around and buy new tracks and cars.

Its not that expensive if u think about it .. 30 days a month if u got yearly subscription it would cost u about $45 cents a day or so.. not that bad? well worth it to me

There's a few people from the LFS forum who signed up to iRacing for a few months and ended up quitting because what you get for the basic subscription is pretty limited, and the car packs don't have enough that they're interested in.

I understand it's really good for oval racing fans, though, and the actual physics system is pretty good. I think I'll be sticking to Live For Speed and Project Torque though :)

comon guys quit bein losers! iRacing is by far the best ive played... no brainer on that one. the tracks and cars are limited because they spend 6 month to a year making each car so its as realistic as possible also they spend 2 and a half months to 6 months making each track to make it pin point accuracy on the real thing.. see what im saying?

Thank you mopar4life that is what iRacing is aiming for they spent millions laser scanning each real life track so it has every inch and bump that the real life track has.. it is as close as it gets!

i dont deny its realistic i heard it was (i never played it) i just think its kinda ridiculous that not only do u have to pay for a subscription, but have to pay for new cars and track when you want them... I like Arca sim because it is a sim and is realistic and all the tracks are free. (just arca so u can run many different cars) but im an oval racer and some guys are road course racers...i would like like to try iracing but i wont pay for it.

iracing = nr2003 with more eye candy, and edited physics. The mods for Nr2003 would be as good or BETTER than iracing. If those assclowns would've allowed the 2003 physics to be edited. They actually dragged people to court over edited physics. They couldn't let a free community use their "old technology" because they knew all along they were going to cash in on that same physics engine later on. (2008) And cashing in is exactly what they're doing. Guess whats most likely going to happen in 2 yrs with iracing. Remember "MCO"? How you spent your money every month on it. Then 1 day, no more servers....Now you got a useless disc, and a bitter taste in your mouth towards EA. Well Iracing is doing the exact same thing. except when they #@*# you over, you won't even have a useless disc. Enjoy it while it lasts. I'm with these guys. I'll wait for MWO.
