Id definatly go with the Core 2 Duo. I have both intel and amd gaming machines, and love my core 2. AMD makes a good product, dont get me wrong, but from the small specs you gave the intel is what Id choose.

However, I personally stay away from laptops. Desktops you can upgrade for a long long time, parts are easy and cheaper to find and will always put the smack down on a laptop.

The AMD system is the better system in this case. If they are going with the older engine, then obviously it is the better choice since the 6150 > 945G.

The only way the AMD system would be slower in this case would be if the game turns out to be CPU bound.

If either of those laptops are able to play the game, then the one with the 6150 will be able to play it better.

You have to realize there is no beta, so unless they tell you the projected specs, any suggestions for system specs at this time are just speculation.

Most low-end laptops make poor gaming machines because of their cheap integrated graphics cards, not to mention low quality sound. Although the first two computers listed could probably run the game, each one has a weak area, and neither could perform great with the graphics settings turned up. The third computer is quite outdated and it certainly would not even run the game. I replace my computers more often than most people do, but I usually like to be able to max out whatever game I am playing. It really depends on how important quality is to your gaming experience.

Right now I'm using the laptop I bought in 2006:

amd turion 2.2ghz
2gb ram
geforce go7900 256mb x2
hitachi travelstar 7k200 x2

Been a good gaming rig up until now, but newer games are starting to make it sweat, will probably have to replace it later this year.

Building my quad core system was actually very cheap, cost about $368. That was for the motherboard processor and memory I just reused my other stuff

My desktop
Pentium 4 3Ghz
1gb ram
GeForce 128mb graphics card
70gb hard drive

It's like 4 years old so it was really nice when i got it. I'm thinking of getting another gig of ram will that make much of a difference?
