Welcome to MWO! We're very glad you found us! We are working on a beta, due out by the end of the countdown on the front page barring any unforseen difficulties.
This forum is where you can introduce yourself to the rest of the community. Be brief or be long-winded, tell us about you, whether you are a MCOrphan or not, how you found us, and so on.

My name is Victoria (you can call me Vic). I played MCO mostly on Uptown with my boyz from Team Methane. I'm female, and old enough to be most of y'alls mamma.
I have been with the Demolition Crew as it's captain/lady prez forever, we formed the club playing Porsche Unleashed and have members still active in other racing games. You may recall a team on Midtown called The Naturals, which was an offshoot of DC with our illustrious buddy Zoooom as it's MCO Prez.
I ran into Ken 2 and 1/2 years ago when he was first getting the idea of MWO online, and have stuck with this project through thick and thin. I'm excited to be on board as the MWO forum administrator. If you are having problems with the forum, or with anyone who frequents this forum, please let me know so I can fix it.
I will also become known to you as that annoying voice you hear throughout the game, your XREV radio dj, the roadweasel.

Hello im Shane,AKA ShaneSixx was a diehard MCO racer mainly Midtown and Uptown and fan, and yes ofcourse had the ol vette and 65 Stang along with several others i raced, mainly the 69 charger, the trans am an the ol choptop Merc just for kix sunset on MCO was a sad day as i lost many MANY days on end playing, had given up hope on another game comming close ....UNTILL i found this site Congrats, good luck and i hope to see some of you at the Sunrise of MWO.

p.s i thank the video game gods for giving these fine folks the power and knoweldege to bring this game to life.

Kurrupt from Midtown Pacific. It's been so long that I can not actually remember anyone's name I used to race with and talk to all the time. I remember though one of the best racers on MP was a female though. She used to demolish me on Bel Air all the time i think i could beat her on the goto and comeback tracks though lol forgot what they were named though i do remember when they put in parts for winning races you could get my favorite engines pistons from it though and that engine was of course the Cleveland 400 in my 70 Mach 1

I can not remember what level or wich towb i was in... dont even remember what car i drove, but me and my nephew where searching on google for years to find something like MCO, we are glad we found this and can not wait to play the game...

Pitty that i have no programing or designing skills at all, but joining the beta should be incredible....

Hello every one! I am glad that I have found a group of people that miss the old game as much as me! I am glad that MWO is being made! I bought the old game the day it came out and played till the end. I started out Drag racing and made alot of money at it. then I went to buying and selling cars and made a ton of money at that. Then I would race for fun. I wish I could remember my club name but oh well. I hope that my never ending search for the perfict game has come to an end!

Hi Everyone!! I also used to play MCO, cant remember which area though. Did a lot of club racing and was actually the member of our club that kept and maintained all the club cars. I want to say my name was fatt tony on there but I cant be for sure. Im sure glad to have found this site after many years of searching for something that even just barely resembled MCO.

That reminds me, Im gonna have to buy a new steering wheel for my PC now.

Played on Crossroads mostly known as Rupert (Rhode Island plate = Ieatfrd) also had guys named Superchrge on other servers. Hung out at the Drags mostly until money started getting scarce.....went out on the tracks to make cash.

I have been checking on this game once in a while since it started development, but don't post much.
I only got to play the old MCO game for about 6 months after i bought it before they shut it down, and have looked for a similar game ever since. Names Brian, nice to see so many people interested in the same type of game. I hope when this game comes out it is a hit. Mabey i can get myself another 32' coupe for the drag strip.:D

you guys really want it back too, working so hard to make one of your own... i cant wait to see the results , i cant remember on which servers i used to play but i remember runnign auctions with a business machine lol his name was speeed i liked racing on westbrook, goose point, loved to pink slip a lot with 2 speed automatic belairs lol and was using the name Solidpitch. im glad to see this community isnt dead and still remember these days :)
i dont have the time or ability to help on this project but i sure am one of those who want mco back too, ill willingly help beta test with the few hours a week i can give.

My forum name is Miller. I am from Phoenix, Arizona in the USA, and presently live in Mississippi. There is a hyperlink to my PC and Internet connection specifications in my signature. I played some racing games, mostly old ones because my PC is old. I like NFS: High Stakes because it has a driver's view with articulated wheel and instrument panel, a customizable HUD, and because it has a replay with many cameras available. I like playing Flatout with some mod that adds a driver's view to the game. I just ordered GT Legends from eBay. I play the first three DRIVER games.

You have a nice website. I still have not even viewed of all the information about Motor World Online that is available outside the forums section of your website, but I will. It is a nice presentation.

In this area, I have read very little besides the FAQ For NOOBS topic. I am glad to get the impression that the people making the game and the message board administrator seem like nice people, who are also witty.

I never played "that one other game" before. I learned about Motor World Online while searching the Internet for racing games to play on PC.

It seems like the game you are making is something I would like to play. It looks like Motor World Online is going to be the kind of game people talk about when they are telling what kind of game they would make if they could make one. I am glad Motor World Online will feature older American cars.

Let me tell you i loved your post hehe. That kinda words make us keep going.

As for MWO i dare to say that it woun't be like any other game you may have played online or offline. We are trying to put together a game that will bring the hotspots of all racing classics that been for PC, plus the unique feel that a Massive online game gives to everything. And as a final touch the fact that it's been done by ppl who shares two big pasions: Games and cars.

Trust me, this is a coctel you would like to drink everyday :D

Be happy to give you the limited details we are releasing at this time. We have a beta release due in December that will be limited to VIP/People who have donated in the past. This release is our first fully functional MWO release. We are inspired very heavily by MCO (Come on, it was great!) so you'll see that inspiration in the way we treat realism (parts,customization are based on real life specs).

You are not alone in feeling like a kid again, We just had a race between Ken, Thaigo and myelf and it was very exciting to us all!

My wife and I were talking about racing games from years ago and somehow the discussion evolved into MCO (sorry we didn't play) and how we would love to play something of that ilk. We have been playing MMO's for the better part of a decade and are looking for something different. Well, I found your website and we spent 20 minutes naming the makes and models (it was a blast). We both work at an automotive shop (I am a semi-retired mechanic) and I do light graphics work on the side. We both talk about cars and gaming all of the time so this game would make us both as happy as 2 pigs in a poke. :D
