this is mostly directed to the directed to the devs-

Hello, I am aware that it may be way to soon to answer this question but i am hoping that some information can be shared -

For most of my daily computer use i use an I-mac air book - but i am currently working on doing a complete home automation system for a home- that i am gutting and restoring and am going to be needing to build a PC decitated for the above purpose(Lights, heating and cooling, security -some home theater media storage, food prep ect - think the jetsons :) . I am not big on playing PC games anymore matter of fact last i played was MCO, but you can bet that I am going to be around for this and am willing and able to add whatever requirements might be needed to run this particular game at its max settings thru a remote monitor in my home office.

The contractor that is helping me with this figuring that I should be ready to build the CPU just after xmas so any info would be most appericated - i would rather do this all in one shot and not have to upgrade considering the requirements of the HA are not that high but a pain in the ass to setup and changes at a later date could cause issues

that being said - would you be so kind to let me know what you guys might be thinking in reguards to process speed, ram, and of course the all important graphic res and window version requirements

oh and on a lighter note -any plans on doing a 3 screen setup?? (additonal HDMI cables would need to be run thru floors and walls) or being able to use a logitech steering wheels??

thanks for the time and help

We wont really be able to answer your question 100% accurately until we enter beta testing. I can tell you my system specs which is running the software flawlessly.

Pentium Core Duo - $199 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115028)
Asus AI Mobo (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131232) - $135
4GB OCZ Ram (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227289) - $130
Geforce 9800 GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130384) - $130

The rest is purely up to you. When I built my system everything was twice the cost of what I posted above. In fact my Geforce 9800 GT was $380. Either way this set up is guaranteed to play whatever you want as far as games go. I have 4 hard drives in my system, the mother board will allow you to have 8. You can also go out and buy an Intel MacOSX DVD and install it on this system flawlessly.

Logitec wheels are already supported.

Should also tell you, the game will be coming out for Mac as well and should run just fine on your iMac Air.

I think its good that we are considering many platforms.

My friend would love to try MWO on his linux machine, with a mac version, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
