I started working on my 70 coupe stang this week to get ready for paint. I plan on painting it this weekend, but with the week straight of 100 degree days and no A/C its hard to work very long on it.
As you can see, everything will be painted.. bumpers, rails, no chrome anywhere except the aluminum wheels will stay the same.
Ill post pics when its done in a week or so.

Thats because its a surprise!!!
The body will be flat black, and everything that was chrome, will be gloss black. It will be a nice blacked out 2-tone clean look.... at least it looks that way in my head. I hope it turns out half as cool as I invision it.
Interesting twist. I've seen "Black on black" schemes before, but they're usually flat on gloss, not gloss on flat.
Good luck.

nice job!!!
got sorta that rat rod look to it.
might want to put some decals and a little pinstripe to give it some flare.
is it me or do those tires seem a little big to big?

Very nice, very sinister! I wouldnt add any graphics or anything. Only possibly a California Special rear spoiler or Mach 1 wing at most.
kinda reminds me of this Mustang

Thats a cool stang, I've never seen that before, thanks for the link. I was going to build a spoiler on the back, but changed my mind at the last minute. Im glad I did now, I like how it turned out. Thanks for the compliments. :D

And here are the parting shots of the car. I've struck a deal to trade it off for a chopper so it will be going to its new home next weekend.
Changed a couple of things like a front spoiler. Got the interior done as well so it turned out pretty wicked.

That better be an OCC chopper you're getting for the trade. It wouldn't be worth less. ;) :D
