As of today . 19 more days .. Till Alpha.I dont know about alll of yas. I am pretty excited. I have pulled the old momo wheel out of the closet got it all calibrated and tested out on r-factor.. Cant wait!!. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I again want to say thanks to all the community and the Developers, Ken and Weasel. All contributers of ideas philosiphies and financial as well. This is the perfect evident example of what people can do together over time for one purpsose to re-united a family once torn apart now re-joined old and new....
I have been on here like many others for a verry long time . Was on under another name. Mcomobboss. Now this name . We all have been verry supportive and we all thank everyone for being the FAMILY we all are on here. :D

well i think we are all amped for the kick off to this game but alot of us have seen the kickoff date come and go with nothing now dont get me wrong the dev team is kicking some serious butt to get it going but theres little reason to get over anctious for it after all it is just a game

No prob i am well aware its a game just gettin the blood flowin and i have been here for many of the false starts due to programming and technical difficulties. Just was being supportive in a positive way ..

An alpha is just the beginning. I'm expecting just a simple test to see that some of the basic features are working. Now, a beta would be more finalized and be something to get overly excited over as an alpha version doesn't necessarily look anything like the final game. At least we'll have some to test though.
Chaul hit it on the head, though I think the alpha will be pretty impressive. Especially over the original alpha from 4 years ago.

Don't worry, the Alpha release will hapen on the 29th. worst case scenario we will remove any unfinished / buggy element from it.

Saw the new video footage. looks nice.
few suggestions
-needs a bit more detail
-dust particles and shadows need to be toned down a few notches
other than that good stuff.
The first 1min 30 some odd seconds features the toned down dust particles, outside view cam, tire marks and other goodies. The rest of the clip is from early tests from previous alpha builds. As far as detail goes, Taigo is working his butt off on it. He might get the track done by release, he might not and I'm sure not going to rush the guy. After all he is a perfectionist! Either way we will have something to release on the 29th, or as we have been calling it our initial... Sunrise.
On another note, I just upgraded to Vimeo Plus, so as soon as they approve the HD version of the new video I'll put it on the front page.

I have no problem with smoke but if the guy in front of me is smokin that bad in and still makin consistant laps , somethings wrong.

i was refering to the dust wich now is very light.
But in the future when a car is smoking because of engine malfunction of course he woun't be ahead of you much time hehe.

My favorite part of the new video (since I cannot seem to figure out how to comment in comment box for the video) is the part where the camera is inside the car and it moves around in correlation to the steering movements. That is just too cool, man. By the end of the video, my upper lip was stuck to my dry teeth from smiling for however many minutes that lasted.
