what does the countdown mean?

In other words...
Its there because it can be.

I DO know however that if anything it IS NOT the countdown till release or beta, or anything like that.
It is simply too early to tell something like that, even I don't know, and I highly doubt Ken does either.

Its a theoretic release date for the online beta. Its not official, and its subject to change.

That countdown is a clue so what am I looking for? The first one to post the correct answer in this thread will be the winner. Winner will have some serious bragging rights and some cool prize or another once the game goes up!

Sunrise MIGHT be when MWO starts up!

Shadow, you would be right! Since MCO sunset was Aug. 29, 2003 we figured we'd shoot for an Aug. 30 2009 sunrise! We aren't promising, but we sure like the sound of that date for firing this baby up! You'll get some great goody when we have great goodies to give in game, ok?

I think it's a great idea to aim for it and a great sentimental value for the MCO abandoned, but I'm sure if you guys can't make it won't be a big deal. You'll always have our support.
