I have it on 360. It's not bad. MP Free Roam was a bit of a let down. Some reason a lot of content from SP was stripped for MP (random encounters, mini-games, skinning, etc), leaving about the only thing for people to do is grief. Haven't tried the competitive modes yet, but I hear XP gained there is pathetic compared to gang hideouts in free roam (which you can do by yourself in a private free roam... leveling up in MP with only SP!).

Frankly, the game is just GTA4 with a western theme. If you liked GTA4, I imagine you'll like this game. If you hated GTA4, I doubt this game will change your mind. Lot of gameplay is the same.

I have heard a lot of good things about this game are the grafics as good as advertised or are they so so and how is the game play

I got it for ps3, and its pretty cool. It is exactly like gta4 in that you can shoot anyone, steal peoples "rides", and tons of missions. I didnt like the MP though. The second I went into it, I was shot immediately.

The MP is a joke. It makes saints row 2's look good. The SP on the other hand, is brilliant.

The MP is good when you're with friends. I also joined and got sniped pretty much instantly. But I got into a game with a friend of mine and we had a great run clearing gang hideouts and then going nuts executing innocent townspeople. So I recommend not writing off the online until you've hooked up with people you know rather than random asshats :)
