2 New Racing Releases Coming Soon

I read an article yesterday(damned if I can locate it again) was talking about the best new releases in gaming and said that 2 new racing games were coming out at the end of the month, one is titled "Blur" the othe "Spit Second", that were supose to be like "no other racing game before". Both were also expected to be great games and highly successful. Did anyone else see the artle someplace and what do think about what was said. I don't think either will be anything close to MCO,or what we are trying to do here.

IIRC one is like mario kart, the other one is point to point racing on a big map.

There is, unfortunatly, no such thing as MWO coming out (apart from MWO itself).

Only thing that comes near ATM is the SLRR Street Rod mod.

The article had highlights of 8 games. One was the Mario Cart game and it had the other cheesy game you mentioned.Three other were RPGs(one was a call to duty continuation, one was a Max Paine type-tough guy, and one was a like a fantasy style...I don't play or care for RPGs so paid little attention about them), but the 2 I posted about were suposedly the "next thing"in racing games. So I guess I did read it. I can't find the article, thats why I ask if anyone else had seen it. I thought it might of been a Yahoo article, which change twice a day but I subscribe to ZDNet also so it might of been from there(and of course as I read my e-mails I delete them so I might of been to hastie and lost it there.)

I played the online beta for blur it's a great game. Its like mario kart on acid. Very fast paced with impressive visual effect to the power ups and up to 20 players a race. I suggest giving it a try. dont know how the single player will be but online multiplayer is so much fun and can get pretty intense at times. it comes out may 25th

We were going to use the source code from Blur for the base for MWO but they kept delaying and delaying the release. Its now Quarter 4 of this year for developers to liceanse the source and I gotta tell you, they said this last year at this time. Hence why we went back to Unity, got tired of waiting.

Split Second reminds me of the Burnout games.

Knew about Split Second like 2 weeks ago or so.
In the netherlands they have a commercial of this game on TV that promotes a special ''Disney XD'' skin for the cars (Disney XD is also known in other countrys as Disney Channel).
Its stupid in my opinion :-q, though the game doesnt look to bad so far i have seen.

EA is full of sheeeet. Bring back MCO with Time Trials, that was a true test. This will be a nitrous bottle that fills itself up when you "drift" around corner type online "Racer" test. I have yet to find a game that taking car of your motor and body panels effects the outcome on a non cheatable, scam-able level since MCO. It is like they killed Pontiac and are trying to stuff econo-boxes down our throat as a substitute (doh!). Its as if they killed the best racing game ever and offered us Ultima Online or Sims as a substitute......sry, ive been drinkin again...... EA should jump in a volcano (I know the SPOT!).

F= Ea And F=MCO i loved the game but its gone and if Ea would bring it back i would not play it now lets talk about MWO made for fans of MCO now thats going to be the best car game of all time keep up the great work guys much love for you................MWO #1
