The forums layout changed on me, it looks old but cool. off color white with red lining and red and blue boxes. OH HOW PATRIOTIC!!!
anubody else see it?

sorry but you are experiencing a live edit lol. We are getting ready to launch the new site, and the forums will be apart of the site, it will all make more sense when the site and forums are merged.

This really looks cool, and nice to have something else than the default blue theme which a ton of forums have. I also noticed it first when you'd only changed the red bars and I thought at first something had gone screwy but I can see and read now that it was because it was during the change. I do wonder where the MWO logo at the top of the forum page went?
The only thing though is that the animated icons for online/offline status and that rotating one for unread posts are a little bit distracting. It also seems a little out of place to use a nuclear symbol but that's just my opinion and the icons aren't going to stop me from visiting and posting here of course :)

Hey Frank, I 100% agree with you, I'm looking to do some custom graphics for that here soon. The logo will be back when the forum is integrated into the new site. If you see the new logo now it will give away the suprise of the new design. This is just the start. :)

I agree with the online/offline graphic, its kinda lame. I suggest just photoshop and old school streetlight and put it under our names. Greenlight means were online, redlights means were offline.

or the online thing would look cool if it was like a car with the headlights on if your online or off if your off line, but you've got it planned probably and its something we'll like i imagine.

My old bookmark works just fine, just need to re-do it so the wheel shows up though.

The update is slowly happening. Have to fix the cookie bug, add the footer, and finish the nav bar for the main site so it shows up on the forum. Its going to be a little while, but I hope it will be worth the wait for everyone. :cheers:

Please ignore the countdown timer, we were just testing it out to make sure it works correctly. We will know more about the beta release here in a few more months.

if only gaming companies can get back to their roots and look at us and say, "wow these guys are awesome, even without fancy smancy corporate budgets and up to date technology, these guys could be trouble within the next year or so."

Got a report that the new menu system on the front page is popping up an error box that quickmenu is not registered. Don't fear we are still waiting on our serial number and will have this fixed promptly.

Thanks for all the great comments and critiques! Taigo and I have put a lot of hours into this new site. You wouldn't believe how difficult it was to redesign this old "themed" website lol. If anyone notices any bugs feel free to let me know.

Yup everyone here can have a blog if they want one. I just happen to link to our dev blogs from the menu. I will have one shortly as will Taigo and Weasel.

Nice to see the site back up. Must say I was getting a bit worried there. By the way the new site looks excellent. Better copyright it, EA might hook it for a racing game, oh wait they do not really make racing games anymore.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems like the same color schemes from the old official MCO forums, at least during the beta.
edit: Not that I think there is anything wrong with it, I like it, just seeing if anyone else remembers.
