Early look at MWO

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't had much to say lately. I just suffered a hard drive crash over the weekend and have been working hard to get everything up and running.

Here is an early look at MWO in our new engine. Don't fear this is just a "sample track" that comes with the engine. You will see very MCO inspired tracks in the real game.

This is a shot of Tagio's 32 Ford Coupe. Things to keep in mind, this is just a basic gray color, you can actually change the color to any color you wish in the paint shop, and you can even choose custom skins. No shaders have been designed or applied to the model yet, you will see real chrome and reflections in the real game.

sorry to hear about your hard drive crash. Take took a beatdown and kept going? is that why you didn't talk to us for so long?

anyways it looks cool, I think bonnie and clyde would love to have those screenshots.

How many FPS does it run at?

Its running at about 200+ fps on my machine. Runs at about 40-70 fps on my low end machine. Not bad for no optimizations what so ever yet. :) Would like to also mention that this level is about 200 million polygons.

that coupe is ripe for some black humor. evidently the last thing that Clyde Barrow said to his wife was "yeah, I like this car but I kinda wish it had air-conditioning..." seriously, that looks drop-dead gorgeous Ken...:D

No release right away - still a ways out there from any type of release. The parts database for beta is under control. You'll have at least as many parts as MCO offered.
