1 million? This guy is nuts. On a more sane topic you can get a 2011 Pontiac Trans Am for $80,000, or the year one bandit for $110,000.

Car looks pretty cool, but I'd be very suspicious of that auction. Not a single real-car photo? I hope no one pays 1 million for pictures.
Guy is saying they'll make the car for the winner, but still seems fishy to me. Seems like they already know what they're making, why not just make it?

Am I the only one that thinks it's ugly from a side view? Square wheel wells? GIANT silver wheels? Yuck... I'll just have to only look at it from the front... lol

Interesting stuff and a great way to promote yourself.
Michael Leonhard is an Austrian designer. Here is a link to his stuff if you have not found it already.

Hmmmm. Maybe when I get to the new cars (which is a long way off yet), I'll have a look at that, but I'd have to do a bit of bodywork as the proportions seem a bit off to me, not to mention those oversized rims would need downsizing
Hmmmm. Maybe when I get to the new cars (which is a long way off yet), I'll have a look at that, but I'd have to do a bit of bodywork as the proportions seem a bit off to me, not to mention those oversized rims would need downsizing Good, i'm not the only one that noticed.
That's a problem with today's "retro" designs. The artists all think they have to be DUB editions. :-&
In my day, (I hate saying that, I sound like my Dad. ) our muscle cars had bigger rear wheels than front, but none were bigger than 16"/15" with 14" fronts. Jacked up in back, lowered in front. Looked cool to me. :)
Today's oversize rims with a rubber band on them barely qualify as tires in my book. Might as well use old wagon wheels. (And I've seen that, too)
17" is about my max on anything. I run 15" on the truck because, well it's a truck and 4wd. The cougar got 17" because my brother payed for them lol.

tsk tsk, totally agree on the Rake, but i cant stand when ppl mess up a good set of rims. 15's all around, with some 265/60's in the reah and som 205/70's in the front, that will get you at least an inch, and still look respectably the same size, want more, shackel the leafs/or weld in a pipe 'n' plate spring wedges, and cut the front springs down, well thats the cheap way anyways, on the plus it will stiffen up your spring rate for coming into them corners hot..... hmmm, that would be a cool idea in game, if we can un-bolt parts in "3-d" for the motor, (kinda looked like Snap-On Garage) how about being able to torch and weld here in there too? kinda, build your own roll cage, or fix-a-frame. just think some buying sheet metal and flat stock, a little angle-iron and square tubing, ppl could model thier own creations, in game.... without much knowledge of how to do the modeling and stuff, the things that could crawl out of the garage corners, whoh baby, anyway thats possible. kinda like Snap-on Garage meets Monster Garage Meets MCO!!!!!!!

I went with 17's on my T/A and then stuck with 255/50/17 tires instead of 275/40's because I like to see some side wall. I hate that rubber band all wheel look.:>

265? You're thinking too small, buddy. If your car can get traction with 265, you need to do some motor work. :p

see how many people her remember L-60 -15's or n -50-15's see all you kids got converted to fricking metric tire sizes i ran L-60-15's in rear and g-60-15's in the front of my 67 nova in high school ,did i mention they were WIDE BRUTE OVALS and yes that was a tire brand LOL
and 48.5x12.50x15's on my 4X4 ( 11" all suspension lift back when monster trucks were cool ) and not just for stadiums , seen big foot cross the St.Croix river and then USA1 did it , but he stopped dead center and shut truck off climbed out the window and flipped the bird to bob chandler started his truck back up did a complete 360 turn and drove out like he was in a puddle

don't feel Bad Rokket, I found out the hard way what happens when you put 60-series bias-ply's on the front end of a '77 F-150; yer tie-rod ends SLOWLY fall apart... LOL
:D
Anyone notice a trend. Plymouth's 2 seater roadster... poor seller. End of a car company.

Pontiac Solstice... 2 seater roadster. EXTREME poor seller. End of a car company.

Saturn Sky. 2 seater roadster. Poor seller. End of a company.

Just a coincidence? How about it Pontiac. 1000's of people begging for a rivival on the Trans Am and you guys decided Pontiac just wasn't about excitement anymore. Look at the Camaro now. Out selling the Mustang for 5 months straight. No dealer can keep them on the lot, and if they are on the lot they are going for 10 grand over the sticker price....

wow that is so true and so right on.
Once the economy bounces back and only god knows when that will happen, someone should have the common sense to bring back these companies and start producing better cars.

The 2010 stang is a limited run. Ford is bringing out the 5.0 for 2011 so why would anyone grab a 10? Same thing for the gt500. It's not selling because of the rumored 6.2L or the more likely aluminum 5.4L. I'm honestly surprised they are moving so slowly after being in a couple 300+ million dollar movies. There is one in amarillo that has been on the lot for 3 months. Probably because of GM's QC and the paint peeling off.
Only an idiot would spend a million dollars on pictures. I'd like to sell him some gl..diamonds.:D

I agree with you there , it should have been Cadillac luxury , Pontiac performance , and chevy for the fleet sales. Buick only got saved for its asian profitability. GMC and saturn are the WTH brands IMO.
