I figure if there is a way, but I don't have the tech in my hand to tell you. If you have Win7, I know there's an option where you can take an incoming connection and become an "access point" for other devices, such as a 360, to connect to. Perhaps you could do that?

Don't you have to pay by the kilobyte though for that? That would get expensive quick if so!

If you can take the line you use to connect into the pc, run it into a router, i'm sure you can.
unless virgin mobile uses a wireless card... then, I dunno. Some cards/adapters can be used as access points.

i have windows 7 on a laptop and it does have the option to share the internet connection...its pre-paid and u pay something like 60 bucks a month for a gig of data...and being that i will be on it only on weekends and a few hours at a time i should be ok...beats payin 80 a month for satellite

they make an adapter for a wireless LAN connection for the 360, Cobra. I'm just not sure if it's bluetooth or not. am I just confusing the issue? if so, I'll just shut up. yup, that's what I'll do, I'll just shut up...OK,...shutting up now. yup, that's what I'm doing, shutting up. (HELP!!!! I've got verbal diarrhea and I can't shut up!!!!) LOL

Well, there's probably a wired and wireless solution here, but I can only think of the wireless one right now....

First piece is your laptop with win7, running the mobile broadband, set to be an access point.

Second piece is your 360 with a networking adapter that allows it to pick up wireless signals. You could use Microsoft's proprietary product, but as it's significant cost a different option might be to find a wireless bridge. They do make some products specifically for this purpose, but you could use this tutorial to take a router and make it into a wireless bridge: http://www.geeksaresexy.net/2007/10/02/how-to-cheap-wireless-for-your-xbox-360/. Plus, if you ever get DSL/cable out there, it can be changed back to an regular old router for your laptop and 360.

I think that'd work. I'm sure there's a possibility that you could share your mobile broadband through the wired network adapter and having the laptop and 360 set up with static IP's and a crossover cable, could share the internet that way, but I don't know how to set up the laptop specifically for that so....
